As some people are already aware, I made a professional profile about half a year ago. I just felt like announcing that there's enough content there to be worth looking at.

Um, first let me rattle off all the things for those who don't want to read a whole spiel:

1. I've been pregnant again (For those who don't know, I'm actually in my late twenties). I'm due in the middle of January, it's a boy and his nickname is Huey :D

2. Baby Sky is obviously a toddler now, and with her little brother coming we can't call her the baby. So it's just Sky. She's been staying with her grandmother for a while because me and Hubby are struggling-Hubby had to go back to school, and it looks like I've been dealing with undiagnosed ADHD on top of my depression. More details below. (Please don't ask about anything I don't tell. I probably won't answer)

3. I keep trying to make my profile here professional, but realized I could just make a second account. Introducing Glory Blaze Drake! It's bare-bones right now, but eventually it will have content. https://www.deviantart.com/gloryblazedrake

4. I just wanted to post some unfinished art here that I was making for contests and didn't get done by the contest deadlines. Plus some crochet stuff I made.

Ok! Now for the long stuff.

1. Baby Huey! ...And also what's up with Sky.

I was worried about announcing this because Sky was at her grandmother's. No, we didn't plan to have the next baby when circumstances were like this. You see, when two people love each other very much, things don't always go to plan. (eyeroll) Things rarely go to plan when you DON'T get along with the people around you, but luckily me and Hubby DID intend to have another child EVENTUALLY and we're happy to have this one. We were/are doing everything we can to be ready for Sky to come home and to be ready for Huey to be here.

Anyway...here's some happy things. Huey kicks A LOT. Sometimes at night it's like my stomach is bubbling; I call these dance parties. Sometimes at doctor appointments he'll follow the probe when the nurse is reading his heartbeat and keep kicking it. He also never lets me forget to eat a meal (as you do, when distracted by art projects and stuff), because he'll start kicking. He also kicks when his daddy is talking for a while. :)

2. Sky:

Honestly I think Sky being away is the reason I'm having so much trouble working on Ninjago Battle School. The battle kids have felt like my "imaginary adopted children" long before I even met Hubby, and it kinda feels...off...to be spending a ton of time on them when my real child isn't right there with me. It's counterintuitive, because ANY art is similar to me, in a kind of, I love it like an adoptive child and it makes me happy way. Sometimes I wonder if I could get myself more active artistically again, maybe it would help me overcome the depressive slump that I'm struggling with.

We made the decision to send her to Grandma when Hubby was between jobs and I was having stress headaches so bad I could barely concentrate on anything. Hubby had to take care of both of us, so when he got a job we didn't know how I would manage the headaches and taking care of Sky alone. Grandma couldn't take all of us. We decided to send Sky temporarily before things got bad enough to make her suffer anything.

We've been connecting to all kinds of support programs since. As far as help, we'd appreciate prayers and well-wishes, but please withhold advice and questions. I'd love to do commissions to earn some money.

3. Glory Blaze Drake

So Glory B. Drake is the Pen Name I chose recently. I'm also using it for an Instagram, Pinterest, and a few other accounts, trying to get into marketing my art. I picked the B in the middle for my friends here calling me Blaze for short.

4. Who Remembers Old Contests

There was the Racer contest; this was going to be my entry:

Her name is Aurora Falconi, her vehicle is a hover-bike. The color scheme was gonna be black with glowing neon. The gadget that helps her in the race was bubbles that stretch from the wings at the back of the bike and capture opponents behind her. Her token that she always keeps with her, instead of being an object, was a pet! Rover the peregrine falcon. She rescued him as a little fuzzy hatchling. He's missing his right leg, so she used tech from her hover-bike to give him a prosthetic. She also gave him armor on his wings so he can join her on her races, and he can also make the trapping bubbles like her hover-bike.

I actually don't mind that I didn't get to enter this. That means I can still use it wherever I want :D

Cookie Kingdom Run: I made Madeleine Cookie into a Dragon

For comparison, here's the official artwork for Madeleine cookie below my dragon. I was going to put a pile of treasure he was protecting behind him; it was going to be made of the various in-game currencies of Cookie Kingdom Run (There are a lot). The background is what I think Kingdom Run's cookie palace/temple setting would look like from inside. Also, part of Madeleine Cookie's trivia is that in another art contest on Twitter, he had a Cake Hound named Carter attributed to him. So I made Carter into his squire. Carter is a regular vanilla Cake Hound; here's an official artwork:

Crochet projects I finished!

(I got this crazy idea that I would start selling a lot of crochet stuff, but just burnt myself out)

This is a character invented by a new friend I made! She gave me a few drawings and I crocheted the design based entirely on her drawings.

This took me a month to complete, which is why I haven't been posting other art during this time.

Now I'm open for business again! I've got pages of Ninjago Battle School on the way, and any commissions in the future will be balanced with the time I spend working on it. I mostly put off NBS for this month to get the experience of my first paid commission under my belt.

I've already tested the method for crocheting sharp corners-so I'm going to try my hand at a LEGO minifigure soon! First I have to finish the Charizard that I started as a gift to myself a while ago.

I'm Lady Gloria, Hubby is Lord Melanus.

We've been working on this concept for a couple of months-the idea of making a YouTube channel together and streaming videogames.

While I'm struggling with my health, I'm mostly contributing with art, but I'll be gradually integrating more and more into the production. :D

My special stream is going to be Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team, roleplayed as Ninjago! (Can't promise when I'll cobble it together, but it's coming)
